Recommended use:
 
The 313 speakers are intended for nearfield listening up to moderate levels or for background music (low level) in a larger room.

The 313's are sensitive speakers and sound lovely with well paired music .... think vocal or jazz rather than drum n bass!

Without EQ the speakers will sound a little 'lean' or bass light, so you ideally need an amplifier with tone controls, or you can use 'boundaries' e.g. a table top and a wall for desktop listening to boost the low end.
 
It's also advised to listen to the speakers 'off-axis' (45 degrees) so provide a smoother frequency response. 
 
Amplifier recommendation:

Our recommended amplifier for the 313 speakers is the Fosi Audio MC331 as shown in one of the pics above. 
 
In the UK these can be purchased from Richer Sounds for £129 including a 6 year warranty!

With Bluetooth connectivity, VU meter, class a pre-amp section and class d power amp section, this is a serious bit of kit.

The tone controls are also perfect as you'll likely want to trim the treble slightly and boost the bass.
