Back in production, fully licensed

Heretic wound down production in 2024. We're working with founder and chief engineer Robert Gaboury to bring the AD614 and AD612 back, built to his original spec.

In 2023, Stereophile named the AD614 one of its products of the year. It has been out of production and unavailable since.

What they are

High sensitivity two-way monitors built around a 12" Italian coaxial driver from Faital Pro, in a plywood cabinet whose shape and proportions come from Altec's utility cabinets of 1949.

97dB sensitivity means they will run happily on a few watts. That makes them a rare thing: a serious speaker you can drive with a small valve amplifier.

The AD612 is the larger of the two.
