Intro

This is the ceiling mounted version of our 'OG', the first A3 design created by Enton Green, staying true to it's inspiration, the Altec Lansing A6 'Voice of the Theatre' cinema speaker. 
 
This version is primarily intended for commercial installations such as bars, restaurants or shops etc. where it takes up no valuable floor space.
 
The key points of difference between the 'PA' and 'HiFi' version of our A3 speaker is the PA version uses high power PA spec 8" drive units for the mid and bass. Additionally, the speaker is equipped with onboard Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and class-d amplification.

The A3 is so named as it's an almost perfect half scale replica of the original A6.

The colour scheme of grey and black was the colour scheme of the 'Voice of the Theatre' range, which was installed in commercial cinema's around the world from the 1940's.
